Winding Up Orders Issued Against Assent Building Compliance Ltd and Related Companies

Winding Up Orders Issued Against Assent Building Compliance Ltd and Related Companies

Official Liquidation Details

The court has appointed the Official Receiver as the Liquidator for three companies: Assent Building Compliance Limited (company number: 05311596), LB Building Control Limited (company number: 06442788), and Oculus Building Consultancy Limited (company number: 03414863). The Official Receiver is actively managing the process of winding down these companies in accordance with statutory obligations, with the most recent update dated 23 March 2026.

Access to Project Data

The Official Receiver has conducted a comprehensive review of all project data previously held by Assent Building Compliance Limited, LB Building Control Limited, and Oculus Building Consultancy Limited. Following the commencement of liquidation, clients and relevant authorities were granted limited access to essential project documentation. However, this access period has now concluded.

After careful consideration of the volume of records, the statutory framework involved, and the costs associated with ongoing data retention, the Official Receiver, with legal counsel, has determined that there is no requirement to retain historical project data indefinitely. It is advisable for parties seeking documentation to consult alternative third parties who may hold similar records.

The Official Receiver plans to retain the data for a further limited period of 12 months from the date of this notice, specifically until 05 June 2027. Following this timeframe, the data will be destroyed in compliance with insolvency legislation.

While requests for documentation will be entertained, it should be noted that the records are not readily accessible in a format suitable for easy retrieval, making it improbable that documentation can be provided promptly. Should a court order for disclosure be obtained prior to the destruction date, all associated costs and expenses incurred by the Official Receiver must be paid. Additionally, confidentiality obligations regarding third-party information will be upheld at all times.

Any individual or entity that believes they require access to this data should reach out to the Official Receiver and consider obtaining independent legal advice to safeguard their interests. No further notifications will be issued, and the Official Receiver will proceed with the destruction of records after 05 June 2027, in accordance with applicable insolvency laws.
