Police Identify Man Found Deceased in Suitcase During Wimbledon Murder Investigation

A man whose remains were discovered inside a suitcase in a wooded area in Kent has been officially identified by the Metropolitan Police as Dale Mundell, aged 34, from Islington. His body was located in Borstal on 10th July, following a report of a potential murder that prompted police to visit a property in Wimbledon, south-west London, the day before.

Joshua Miller, 32, residing at Kingfisher Court in Wimbledon, has been charged with murder on 8th July and with preventing a lawful burial on 9th July. He appeared via video link at Medway Magistrates’ Court. Alongside him was co-defendant Jamie Cooper, 27, who shares the same address and faces charges related to preventing a lawful burial.
