Three rooms on The Broadway combine ten Technogym Reformers, a mat studio and a sauna and cold plunge on a single membership
Three rooms on the Broadway
The Reset Rooms is a movement and recovery studio at 46 The Broadway, Crouch End, N8. It sits on the main parade, right at the clock tower, with Highgate, Muswell Hill and Stroud Green a short walk or a couple of stops away.

The concept is three words long: “Yoga. Reformer. Recovery.” Reformer Pilates, yoga, mat Pilates, strength, sauna and cold plunge share one building. The Reformer Room, the Mat Room and the Recovery Room are all on the Broadway, on one membership.
Becky Chalmers founded the studio and runs it day to day. She danced professionally, managed restaurants in Edinburgh and Sydney, and spent seven years as company manager of a yoga and Pilates studio. She was also Head of Yoga at 3Tribes London, where she led the 200-hour teacher training.

The Reformer Room
The Reformer Room has ten Technogym beds. Every class is capped at ten, with one person per bed, “so your teacher can watch every bed”. The room is calm and low-lit, with warm lighting and exposed brick.
Classes last 50 minutes and suit all levels. The timetable runs Contemporary Reformer, Traditional Reformer and Barreformer, which is barre on the reformer bed. The traditional class is described as “technique-led practice inspired by classical Pilates”. Beginners are welcome, and the teacher adjusts each reformer.

The Mat Room
Yoga, mat Pilates, strength and sound sessions take place in the Mat Room, in heated and non-heated classes. The yoga timetable includes Vinyasa in three forms (4BEAT, Slow and Strong), Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Yin & Sound and Flow & Restore, as well as the studio’s signature “Hot Reset” sequence. Baby & Me classes also run there. Heated sessions use “gentle infrared” warmth, and mats, blocks, straps and bolsters are provided.
There are special workshops every week on Saturdays. They run from 90 minutes to two and a half hours and cover subjects such as pranayama, yoga nidra, sound journeys, kirtan with live musicians, yin intensives and handstands. Jill Patterson is Director of Yoga, and Norman Blair leads the yin classes.

The Recovery Room
The Recovery Room is ten steps from the studio floor. It holds an infrared sauna at around 60°C and a cold plunge set at 9°C. Sessions last 60 minutes, are capped at five people and are for over-18s only. Towels are provided, phones are left upstairs and the room is kept quiet.
Becky Chalmers describes the idea behind the pairing: “Heat opens you up. Cold brings you back. The space between the two is where the reset happens.”

New clients can take a two-week introductory offer. For 14 days from the first visit it covers unlimited Reformer Pilates, unlimited Mat Room classes and unlimited sauna and plunge sessions, with no commitment and no auto-renewal.
