New Chief Executive Takes the Helm at the Planning Inspectorate

Graham Stallwood has been appointed as the permanent Chief Executive of the Planning Inspectorate following a thorough and transparent recruitment process.

He will assume his new position immediately, providing strong leadership and continuity after serving over six months as the Interim Chief Executive and three years as the Chief Operating Officer of the Inspectorate.

This appointment has received the endorsement of the independent Civil Service Commission.
