Homes England and Government Announce Strategic Partnerships to Boost Social and Affordable Housing Across England

In a significant move to enhance the availability of social and affordable housing across the country, outside of London, 33 partners have been awarded grant funding to collaborate with the government’s housing and regeneration agency. This initiative is part of a broader 10-year programme aimed at delivering much-needed homes to communities.

The selected partners will work alongside other organisations involved in the programme’s Continuous Market Engagement funding route, contributing to the creation of thousands of new homes. This collaborative effort is essential in addressing the housing needs of various communities and ensuring sustainable development across the region.

The following organisations have been designated as Strategic Partners under the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) for the period from 2026 to 2036, along with the number of homes they plan to deliver and the associated grant funding:
