Exciting New Opportunity to Bid for Peer Reviewer Contracts

New Opportunity for Peer Reviewers in Legal Sectors

An additional date has been introduced for individuals interested in applying to become peer reviewers across several categories of law, including crime, family, housing, immigration and asylum, as well as mental health. The contracts for successful applicants will conclude on 28 February 2037, though provisions for early termination exist.

Application Timeline and Important Dates

The application window for tender submissions is now open, with a critical deadline set for 5:00 PM on 3 September 2026. This deadline pertains to tenders that will be evaluated for services commencing on 1 March 2027. Although the application period will extend until approximately 4 June 2035, prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their tenders at any time within this timeframe. However, it is important to note that tenders will only be reviewed once per year.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

Individuals wishing to apply must ensure they meet the conditions set forth by the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) regarding participation. These conditions are designed to ensure that applicants possess the necessary qualifications and experience to fulfil the role effectively.

Steps to Submit Your Application

To apply, candidates must submit a comprehensive tender through two distinct platforms. Firstly, the Central Digital Platform (CDP) should be used for supplier registration and provision of core information. Secondly, the LAA eTendering system is required for the submission of your Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ) response.

It is essential to include a share code linking your CDP response within your PSQ response to ensure proper evaluation. For detailed guidance on the procurement process, potential applicants should refer to the Application Guide: 2027 Peer Reviewer Contract Procurement Process.
