Elation Massage brings three distinct treatments to clients’ homes across North London: Deep Tissue Massage, Lomi Lomi and Lomi Lohi, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. Massage therapist Marat shapes each session around how the body feels on the day.

Practising since 2019

Elation Massage is run by massage therapist Marat, who has been practising since 2019. In his years of hands-on work he has delivered over 3,000 treatments.

There is no routine applied to everyone. Each session is built around the person on the table, with a focus on attentive, considered touch and a calm, personal experience. Clients who are not sure which treatment suits them can describe what is bothering them, and Marat will suggest where to start.

Treatments are booked as 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and that time is dedicated hands-on time: setting up and packing down do not reduce it.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage focuses on areas of muscular tension, stiffness and restricted movement. The treatment uses focused pressure tailored to the individual, with a 90-minute session allowing more time to work on several areas of the body.

Lomi Lomi and Lomi Lohi

Lomi Lomi is a flowing, continuous massage designed to encourage deep relaxation and a calmer state. Lomi Lohi is a slower approach to Lomi Lomi, with gentle, continuous movement and more time to settle into the treatment.

Lomi Lohi can be particularly appealing to people with demanding jobs, hectic lifestyles or everyday stress who find it difficult to switch off. Using long, flowing strokes and gentle, continuous movement, the treatment creates an unhurried, immersive experience that encourages deep relaxation. Its calm, almost ritual-like quality offers a chance to step away from daily demands, settle the body and quiet the mind.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage, listed as MLD Therapy when booking, is a gentle, specialised technique that uses light, controlled movements to support lymphatic drainage. It is a very different treatment from Lomi Lomi, with its own technique and purpose.

Hygiene and quality of materials

Cleanliness, comfort and quality are important parts of every visit. Marat uses disposable coverings for the massage table and appropriate disposable body coverings to help maintain a clean, hygienic environment for every client. He brings all the necessary linens and materials, so clients do not need to provide or wash their own towels. Carefully selected massage oils and products complete the experience.

Everything provided, at home

With Elation Massage there is nothing to organise. Marat brings the table, the linens and the oils, and arrives ten minutes ahead of the appointment to set up quietly. A space of three by two metres is enough, so a living room or bedroom is fine, and when the treatment ends there is nowhere to travel.

Areas covered and opening hours

The areas covered are Cockfosters, Goffs Oak, Barnet, Mill Hill, Finchley, Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hampstead, Swiss Cottage, St John’s Wood, Regent’s Park and Islington. Those just outside these areas can send a message, as Marat can often still come to them.

Appointments are available in the evenings and at weekends. The service operates from 10am to 9pm from Monday to Wednesday, from 2pm to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and from 1pm to 9pm on Sundays, and is closed on Thursdays.

Aftercare and booking

After the treatment, clients are encouraged to take some time to relax and follow any aftercare advice provided for their individual session.

Treatments can be booked online and bookings are confirmed by message, while same-day availability is arranged by phone. Questions before booking, whether about which treatment fits or whether an address is covered, can be sent by message, and Marat usually replies the same day.
