This annual German Christmas Mini Market is organised by the Guildford Twinning Association, celebrating the strong friendship and civic ties with Freiburg im Breisgau. The chair of the Guildford Twinning Association, Barbara Ford, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Now in its 21st year, the German Christmas Mini Market is a much-loved tradition made possible by dedicated volunteers. Every penny raised helps support cultural, sporting, and educational exchanges between Guildford and Freiburg, as well as free public events that build understanding and celebrate our friendship.”
