2025-26 GAD Client Feedback Survey: Share Your Insights for Improved Services

2025 26 GAD Client Feedback Survey: Share Your Insights for Improved Services

The Government Actuary’s Department (GAD) has once again received an impressive rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars from clients, reflecting a high level of appreciation for its services. Notably, this year saw a remarkable achievement, with 100% of respondents awarding four or more stars for their valuation of GAD’s contributions.

In a recent survey, 168 client contacts were approached for their opinions on GAD’s performance, resulting in 81 responses from 40 different organisations. The feedback collected offers a crucial independent evaluation of GAD’s effectiveness and the relationships it maintains with its clientele.

Positive Trends in Client Feedback

Clients were encouraged to provide detailed feedback regarding the service levels they experienced. Compared to the previous year, there were notable improvements in three of the five service metrics assessed. The only areas that did not show improvement were the “delivery to budget,” which remained stable at 96%, and the responses related to work being “Within Scope,” which saw a slight decrease from 100% to 99%.

Additionally, clients had the opportunity to submit qualitative feedback to enrich the quantitative data. Out of the 81 respondents, 52 provided comments, offering valuable insights that contextualise the overall results. These insights are instrumental in identifying areas for enhancement and guiding future initiatives.

Insights from the 2030 Strategy Evaluation

This survey coincided with the conclusion of the first year of GAD’s 2030 Strategy, prompting inquiries about the department’s performance in relation to its strategic objectives. The responses were overwhelmingly affirmative: 97% of participants agreed that GAD is effectively unlocking value in its core operations, while 94% acknowledged an increased impact on policy-making.

Commitment to Excellence

Joanne Ghosh, GAD Engagement Lead, commented on the results: “These findings are a testament to the dedication and expertise of our teams throughout GAD. Being recognised as highly valued by our clients underscores the robust relationships we have developed and our unwavering commitment to providing high-quality actuarial advice.”

Ghosh further expressed gratitude towards the clients for their constructive feedback, emphasising that as the department enters the second year of its 2030 Strategy, there is a strong aspiration to respond to the call for even more effective partnerships and continued innovation in their work.
