In our ongoing efforts to enhance the security of our services, we are pleased to announce the introduction of multi-factor authentication (MFA) for all users of DSCC Online.

MFA is a robust security measure that requires users to provide multiple forms of identification when logging in. This additional layer of security helps to safeguard your account and significantly diminishes the risk of unauthorised access.

Individual Accounts Required

We are reaching out to all existing users to ensure that everyone possesses their own individual DSCC Online account, as shared accounts are not permitted. It is important for each user to have a personal account to facilitate the MFA process and enhance overall security.

Methods of Multi-Factor Authentication

For the implementation of MFA, users will have access to the following authentication methods:

• The Microsoft Authenticator app
• Various third-party authenticator applications, such as Google Authenticator

Next Steps for Users

In advance of the planned implementation in early September 2026, we will provide all users with detailed information and guidance regarding the MFA enrolment process. This will ensure a seamless transition to the new security measures.
