Experience the Magic of Wembley Park Live: A Free Five Hour Festival of Indie, Soul, R&B, and Pop Music!

This month, a free music festival is set to captivate audiences with an impressive lineup of live performances spanning genres from indie and R&B to soul and alternative pop, all beneath the iconic arch of Wembley Stadium. The event, titled Wembley Park Live, will occur in the North West London park on Sunday, July 26, running from 2.30pm to 7.30pm.

Celebrating Summer with Live Music

Wembley Park Live stands as the centrepiece of Wembley Park’s Summer Rocks series, a vibrant programme that features family-friendly live music, fitness classes, art sessions, and markets throughout the neighbourhood until September. Among the festival’s highlights are performances by singer-songwriter Rita Campbell and musician Alle Pearse, who will deliver a delightful mix of retro pop and disco tunes. They will be succeeded by country rock band Scarlette Fever, adding a dash of Nashville flair to the festivities.

London-based musician Aaron Wiggett will charm attendees with an acoustic set using his loop pedal, joined by contemporary folk singer-songwriter Zak Lukan. The atmosphere will be further enriched by the folk and soft-rock duo Rueben & Gotxi, who first crossed paths while busking on the vibrant streets of the capital, and will evoke a sense of 70s nostalgia. Additionally, soul and funk artist Ivanmore Da Souza is set to mesmerise audiences with his deep, resonant harmonies.

Eclectic Performances and Local Delights

Adding a unique touch to the event, a string quartet from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, now based at Wembley Park, will perform reimagined renditions of rock and pop classics. The festival will culminate with a performance from Wembley Park Live’s own All Stars house band, who will take to the stage as the main act, showcasing hits from this year’s Glastonbury festival.

Beyond the music, Wembley Park Live will also feature a selection of craft beer stands, along with a mobile bar provided by the local establishment Feed The Yak. Festival-goers can explore a summer market throughout the day, offering an array of street food stalls, fresh produce, handmade crafts, and antiques, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
